Regress (from the Latin regressus , backward step, recourse ') stands for:
- Regress (logic) , going back from the unsecured to the certain
- infinite regress , infinite regress, as a special methodology in structural sciences
- Recourse (right) , a claim for damages
- regressus in finitum : stepping back into the finite in a finite series
- regressus in indefinitum : stepping back in a row that can be broken off at any point
