As Regular (engl. Pronunciation [ɹɛg.jə.lə], regular ') is in mesh jargon of the regular and therefore experienced participants in a mailing list , a news group or an internet forum called.

The Regular usually enjoys a certain degree of familiarity among the other participants in the forum due to his contributions. His contributions are usually characterized by a certain competence in relation to the topic of the forum.

The regulars give formal, stylistic or substantive standards such as the Netiquette against the newcomers ( newbies ).
