On January 15, 1920, the Reich Employment Agency was set up in Berlin . Friedrich Syrup became its first director. On April 23, 1920 he was appointed and appointed President of the Reich Office by Reich President Friedrich Ebert and Reich Labor Minister Alexander Schlicke .
