The Reiff Group ( proper spelling : REIFF Group ) is a German family company with headquarters in Reutlingen . The parent company of the group is Albert Reiff GmbH & Co. KG .

history

On July 1, 1910, 24-year-old Albert Reiff opened a shop for technical rubber goods in Reutlingen that is growing rapidly. In 1922 the subsidiary A. Reiff + Cie., Automobile-Zubehör was founded and in 1931 the subsidiary Reiff + Cie., Techn. Industriebedarf, Kfz-Zubehör und Vulkanisierbetrieb . With the opening of a commercial building in Reutlingen in 1937, Reiff entered the retail sector . In 1980 the company became a GmbH . After 1990 the group of companies opened locations in East Germany and Poland . In addition to the traditional trading business, Reiff has established elastomer technology in Reutlingen, which has grown into an automotive supplier for molded parts made of rubber since the 1980s .

The tire and auto technology division was fully acquired by the Fintyre Group in 2017. The right to use the name “Reiff” for the tire industry and the associated brands “Tyre1” and “Reifendiscount” were also sold at the same time.

The Reiff Group, with its headquarters in Reutlingen, is still an independent, owner-managed family company (as of 2020).

The Reiff Group includes the companies Reiff Technische Produkte with nine locations in Germany, Reiff Technical Products in Shanghai (China), Kremer in Wächtersbach , RET in Reutlingen and Săcele (Romania), Roller with two locations in Belgium and one location each in Luxembourg and Morocco.

The Reiff Group is a family company with a focus on trading activities in the Federal Republic of Germany. According to its own information, it has 820 employees at 15 locations. The range includes technical products and elastomer technology .

The Reiff Group is divided into three corporate divisions:

  • Management and service
