The weaving and bleaching mill Reiner Waters GmbH in Waldniel (Lower Rhine) was founded in 1852. It was closed in 1967.

The company consisted of a damask weaving mill and a mechanical weaving mill and specialized in church canvases.

In 1926 the Reiner Waters company was founded by Pope Pius XI's steward. Awarded the title 'Papal purveyor to the court ' due to the high quality of the church canvases .
