Reinhold Schattenfroh

Reinhold Schattenfroh was a German politician ( SPD ).

Career

On November 16, 1981, Schattenfroh was appointed "Representative of the SPD Party Executive for Cultural Policy" by the SPD party executive. In this capacity, he was involved in the preparation of a report on the current state of social democratic cultural policy as well as proposals for the future course of action of his party in this area. In his report he finally suggested u. a. the establishment of a social democratic cultural forum as a “bridge pillar between politics and culture”. From 1983 to 1988, Schattenfroh was head of the August Bebel Institute .

In 1987, together with the historian Johannes Tuchel , Schattenfroh published a book about the history of the Secret State Police and its headquarters in Berlin-Prinz-Albrecht-Straße .
