history
The company was founded in 1930 by Johann Nickel and entered in the commercial register in 1960.
In 1967 there was the first rush hour traffic for Ruhrkohle AG. In 1968 the first regular service for the Bochum-Gelsenkirchener Straßenbahnen AG followed . In 1973 the company headquarters was opened on Weststrasse, and in 1987 another hall was added. In 1989 Ulrich Nickel took over the management. In 2001 the company renamed Reiseienst Nickel GmbH . In 2006 the first special school transport for the Raphael-Schule eV followed. In 2010 the first regular transport for the Essener Verkehrs-AG followed . In 2011, the first transport of outpatient rehabilitation patients took place in medicos.AufSchalke Reha GmbH & Co. KG. In 2013 the Hans and Ulrich Nickel Foundation was established, which supports disadvantaged people from the region.
