Pers-en-Gâtinais is located about 73 kilometers east-northeast of Orléans on the Sainte-Rose river . Neighboring municipalities of Pers-en-Gâtinais are Chevry-sous-le-Bignon in the north, Le Bignon-Mirabeau in the northeast, Rozoy-le-Vieil in the east, Mérinville in the southeast, La Selle-sur-le-Bied in the south, Griselles in the Southwest as well as Chevannes in the west.
