Cortrat is located about 68 kilometers east of Orléans on the Vernisson River . Cortrat is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Conflans-sur-Loing in the north, Montcresson in the east, Pressigny-les-Pins in the south, Solterre in the west and Mormant-sur-Vernisson in the north-west.
