Mormant-sur-Vernisson is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Amilly in the north and northeast, Conflans-sur-Loing in the east, Cortrat in the southeast, Solterre in the south, Saint-Hilaire-sur-Puiseaux in the southwest, Vimory in the west and Villemandeur in the northwest.
