Chuelles is a French commune with 1,196 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the Loiret in the region Center-Val de Loire . It belongs to the arrondissement of Montargis and the canton of Courtenay (until 2015: canton of Château-Renard ). The residents call themselves Chuellois .
geography
Chuelles is located in the Gâtinais orléanais landscape , about 80 kilometers east-northeast of Orléans . Chuelles is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Chantecoq in the north, Saint-Hilaire-les-Andrésis in the northeast, Courtenay in the east, Triguères in the south and southeast, Château-Renard in the south, Saint-Firmin-des-Bois in the southwest and La Selle-en -Hermoy to the west.
