Sceaux-du-Gâtinais is about 90 kilometers south of Paris in the Gâtinais countryside on the Fusain river . Sceaux-du-Gâtinais is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Mondreville in the north, Château-Landon in the east and northeast, Courtempierre in the east and southeast, Corbeilles in the south and southeast, Fontenay-sur-Loing in the south, Bordeaux-en-Gâtinais in the west and Southwest, Auxy in the west and Beaumont-du-Gâtinais and Gironville in the northwest.
