Saint-Firmin-des-Bois is located in the Gâtinais orléanais landscape , about 75 kilometers east-northeast of Orléans . Saint-Firmin-des-Bois is surrounded by the neighboring communities of La Selle-en-Hermoy in the north and north-west, Chuelles in the east and north-east, Château-Renard in the south and east and Saint-Germain-des-Prés in the west and south-west.
