The canton of Château-Renard was 2015 a French constituency in the district of Montargis , in Loiret and the region Center-Val de Loire ; its main town was Château-Renard .
The canton was 266.21 km² and had (1999) 9692 inhabitants, which corresponded to a population density of 29 inhabitants per km².
The territorial reforms of 1926 and 1942 did not affect the canton of Château-Renard. However, it was called Canton Châteaurenard until November 19, 1998 ; the change in spelling is based on the change in the spelling of the name of his main town.
