The canton of Châtillon-sur-Loire was 2015 a French canton in the Arrondissement of Montargis in the department of Loiret in the region Center-Val de Loire ; its main town was Châtillon-sur-Loire . His representative in the Conseil Régional for the years 2004–2010 was Jacques Girault.

The canton was located in the southeast of the Loiret department. In the north-west it bordered on the canton of Gien , in the north-east on the canton Briare , in the south on the departments of Nièvre and Cher . history

From the French Revolution until 1926, the canton belonged to the dissolved Arrondissement of Gien . After that, it was an administrative unit in the Arrondissement of Montargis until its dissolution in 2015.
