The canton of Patay was 2015 a French canton in the Arrondissement Orléans in Loiret in the region Center-Val de Loire ; its main town was Patay . His representative in the Conseil Régional for the years 2004–2010 is André Marsy.
geography
The canton was in the west of the Loiret department. In the west it bordered the Loir-et-Cher and Eure-et-Loir departments , in the northeast on the canton Artenay , in the southeast on the canton Ingré and in the south on the canton Meung-sur-Loire . Its area was between 105 m in Bucy-Saint-Liphard and 135 m in Villamblain above sea level .

The canton consisted of 13 municipalities: Boulay-les-Barres , Bricy , Bucy-Saint-Liphard , La Chapelle-Onzerain , Coinces , Gémigny , Patay (main town), Rouvray-Sainte-Croix , Saint-Péravy-la-Colombe , Saint -Sigismond , Tournoisis , Villamblain and Villeneuve-sur-Conie .
