Gémigny is a French municipality with 206 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Loiret in the region Center-Val de Loire ; it belongs to the Arrondissement Orléans and the canton Meung-sur-Loire (until 2015: canton Patay ). The inhabitants are called Gémignois .

Gémigny is located about 18 kilometers west-northwest of Orléans in the Beauce . Gémigny is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Saint-Sigismond in the north and northwest, Saint-Péravy-la-Colombe in the north, Boulay-les-Barres in the east and northeast, Bucy-Saint-Liphard in the southeast, Rozières-en-Beauce in the south, Coulmiers in the southwest and Épieds-en-Beauce in the west.
