Huêtre is a French municipality with 283 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Loiret in the region Center-Val de Loire . It belongs to the Arrondissement Orléans and the canton Meung-sur-Loire (until 2015: canton Artenay ). The inhabitants are called Huêtrais .
Geography and traffic
Huêtre is located about 15 kilometers north-northwest of Orléans . Huêtre is surrounded by the neighboring communities Sougy in the north, Chevilly in the east, Gidy in the south and southeast, Bricy in the south and southwest and Coinces in the west.
