Cerdon (also: Cerdon du Loiret ) is a commune of 942 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the Loiret in the region Center-Val de Loire . The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement Orléans and is part of the canton of Sully-sur-Loire . The inhabitants are called Cerdonnais .

geography

Cerdon is located about 45 kilometers southeast of Orléans in the Sologne . In the south is the Étang des Puits . Cerdon is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Villemurlin in the north, Saint-Florent in the north-east, Coullons in the east, Argent-sur-Sauldre in the south and south-east, Clémont in the south, Brinon-sur-Sauldre in the west and south-west and Isdes in the north-west.
