Chaingy is about 10 kilometers west of Orléans on the Loire . Chaingy is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Bucy-Saint-Liphard in the north, La Chapelle-Saint-Mesmin in the east, Saint-Pryvé-Saint-Mesmin in the southeast, Mareau-aux-Prés in the south, Saint-Ay in the southwest and Huisseau-sur -Mauves to the west.
