The Orléans Canal in Chécy

Chécy is a French municipality with 8667 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Loiret in the region Center-Val de Loire . The city lies on the Canal d'Orléans , which branches off inland from the Loire in the neighboring municipality of Combleux .

Chécy has had a partnership with the community of Ilvesheim in Baden-Württemberg since 1994 .
