Donnery is a French commune with 2,854 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Loiret in the region Center-Val de Loire . It belongs to the Arrondissement Orléans and the canton of Châteauneuf-sur-Loire (until 2015: Chécy ).
geography
The municipality is located around 15 kilometers east of Orléans in the Loire Valley . Neighboring communities are:
- Traînou in the north,
- Fay-aux-Loges in the east,
- Saint-Denis-de-l'Hôtel to the south and
- Mardié in the west.
The départemental road D2060, which is similar to a motorway, runs through the municipal area, which leads from Châteauneuf-sur-Loire to Orléans and serves as a feeder to the A10 motorway .
