Vienne-en-Val is a French commune with 1,942 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Loiret in the region Center-Val de Loire . It belongs to the Arrondissement Orléans and is part of the canton of Saint-Jean-le-Blanc (until 2015: Canton Jargeau ).

Vienne-en-Val is located in the Sologne region about 20 kilometers southeast of Orléans on the Bergeresse River . Vienne-en-Val is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Férolles in the north, Ouvrouer-les-Champs in the northeast, Tigy in the east, Vannes-sur-Cosson in the southeast, Sennely in the south, Ménestreau-en-Villette in the southwest, Marcilly-en- Villette to the west and Sandillon to the northwest.
