Lion-en-Beauce is a French municipality with 140 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Loiret in the region Center-Val de Loire . It belongs to the Arrondissement Orléans and the canton Meung-sur-Loire (until 2015: canton Artenay ). The inhabitants are called Lionnais .

Geography and traffic

Lion-en-Beauce is about 26 kilometers north of Orléans . Lion-en-Beauce is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Tivernon in the north, Oison in the east, Ruan in the south and Santilly in the west.
