Santilly is about 25 kilometers north of Orléans . Santilly is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Allaines-Mervilliers in the north and northwest, Poinville in the north and northeast, Tivernon in the east, Lion-en-Beauce in the east and southeast, Ruan in the southeast, Dambron in the south, Baigneaux in the southwest and Bazoches-les- Hautes in the west.

The A10 autoroute runs through the municipality . To the west of it is the Santilly airfield .
