Ymeray is a French municipality with 612 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Eure-et-Loir in the region Center-Val de Loire . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Chartres and the Canton of Auneau (until 2015: Canton Maintenon ).
geography
Ymeray is located about 17 kilometers northeast of Chartres and about 17 kilometers southwest of Rambouillet . The river Voise limits the municipality to the north. Ymeray is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Gallardon in the north, Bleury in the east, Le Gué-de-Longroi in the south, Champseru in the west and south-west and Bailleau-Armenonville in the west and north-west.
The A11 autoroute crosses the municipality.
