Mondonville-Saint-Jean is in the north of the Beauce landscape , 28 kilometers east-southeast of Chartres and about 70 kilometers southeast of Paris . Mondonville-Saint-Jean is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Morainville in the north, Léthuin in the east and northeast, Gouillons in the east and southeast, Louville-la-Chenard in the south and southwest and Ouarville in the west.
