Morainville is in the north of the Beauce landscape , 30 kilometers east-southeast of Chartres and about 70 kilometers southeast of Paris . Morainville is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Denonville in the north and west, Maisons in the north and northeast, Léthuin in the east and southeast, Mondonville-Saint-Jean in the south and southwest and Ouarville in the west and southwest.
