Chuisnes is a French commune with 1,127 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Eure-et-Loir in the region Center-Val de Loire . Chuisnes belongs to the Arrondissement Chartres and is part of the canton Illiers-Combray (until 2015: canton Courville-sur-Eure ). The inhabitants are called Gonipontins .

Chuisnes is about 20 kilometers west of Chartres on the Eure . Chuisnes is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Landelles in the north, Courville-sur-Eure in the east, Saint-Germain-le-Gaillard in the southeast, Fruncé in the south, Le Thieulin in the southwest and Friaize in the west.
