Le Thieulin is a French municipality with 452 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Eure-et-Loir in the region Center-Val de Loire ; it belongs to the arrondissement of Nogent-le-Rotrou and is part of the canton Illiers-Combray (until 2015: canton La Loupe ).
geography
Le Thieulin is located about 32 kilometers west-southwest of Chartres on the Loir and is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Friaize in the north, Chuisnes in the northeast, Fruncé in the east, Saint-Denis-des-Puits in the south and southeast, and Les Corvées-les-Yys in the south Southwest and Champrond-en-Gâtine in the west.
