Fruncé Town Hall

Fruncé is a French municipality with 405 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Eure-et-Loir in the region Center-Val de Loire . Fruncé belongs to the Arrondissement Chartres and is part of the canton Illiers-Combray (until 2015: canton Courville-sur-Eure ). The inhabitants are called Fruncéens .

Fruncé is about 19 kilometers west-southwest of Chartres . Fruncé is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Chuisnes in the north, Saint-Germain-le-Gaillard in the northeast, Orrouer in the east, Cernay and Villebon in the south, Saint-Denis-des-Puits in the south and southwest and Le Thieulin in the west.
