La Bourdinière-Saint-Loup is a French municipality with 725 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Eure-et-Loir in the region Center-Val de Loire ; it belongs to the Arrondissement of Chartres and the canton of Chartres-2 (until 2015: canton of Chartres-Sud-Ouest ).

La Bourdinière-Saint-Loup is located about 19 kilometers south-southwest of Chartres . La Bourdinière-Saint-Loup is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Mignières in the north, Dammarie in the east and north-east, Fresnay-le-Comte in the east, Meslay-le-Vidarne in the south and south-east, Vitray-en-Beauce in the south, Luplanté in the west and southwest and Ermenonville-la-Grande to the west and northwest.
The National Route 10 runs through the municipality .
history
Until 1972, the original municipality was called Boisvillette and was given its current name on November 24, 1972. The merger with the then neighboring municipality of Saint-Loup was not completed until 1977, despite the name being used.
