The Conservatoire de musique de Genève is the conservatory in the Swiss city of Geneva .

The school was founded in 1835 and was funded by François Bartholoni. The Concours de Genève music competition was founded in 1939 at the Conservatoire de musique de Genève.

When it was founded, Franz Liszt was a piano teacher at the conservatory.

The building, built in the 1850s, is a cultural asset of national importance , the library a cultural asset of regional importance .
