Manufacture d'orgues St. Martin

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Manufacture d'orgues St. Martin SA (formerly Neidhart & Lhôte ) is an organ building company from Chézard-Saint-Martin , Canton of Neuchatel .

The company was founded in 1963 by Joseph Neidhart and Georges Lhôte and had designed around 90 instruments by 1982. On June 15, 1982 the company was taken over by three Neidhart employees and entered in the commercial register of the Canton of Neuchâtel under the name Manufactures d'orgues St.-Martin SA .

Matthey, Aeschlimann and Jeanneret have concentrated on the traditional French organ building trade. So u. a. favors mechanical traction and consequently dispenses with the use of synthetic materials.
