Romainmôtier is a village and a former political municipality that belonged to the then Orbe district of the canton of Vaud in Switzerland . Romainmôtier merged on January 1, 1970 with the former municipality of Envy to form the new municipality of Romainmôtier-Envy , which is now part of the Jura-Nord vaudois district.
