Janville-en-Beauce is a French commune with 2,567 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Eure-et-Loir in the region Center-Val de Loire . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Chartres and the canton of Voves .
It was created as Commune nouvelle with effect from January 1, 2019 through the amalgamation of the previous municipalities of Allaines-Mervilliers , Janville and Le Puiset , which have the status of a Commune déléguée in the new municipality . The administrative headquarters are in Janville.

The municipality is located around 40 kilometers southeast of Chartres in the Beauce countryside . The municipality is crossed by the A10 motorway . Neighboring municipalities are: Trancrainville in the north, Oinville-Saint-Liphard in the north-east, Toury in the east, Poinville and Santilly in the south-east, Bazoches-les-Hautes in the south, Tillay-le-Péneux in the south-west, Germignonville in the west and Guilleville in the north-west
