Fontaine-la-Guyon is a French commune with 1,664 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Eure-et-Loir in the region Center-Val de Loire . Fontaine-la-Guyon belongs to the Arrondissement Chartres and is part of the canton Illiers-Combray (until 2015: canton Courville-sur-Eure ). The inhabitants are called Guidofontanais .

Fontaine-la-Guyon is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Mittainvilliers-Vérigny with Mittainvilliers in the north, Saint-Aubin-des-Bois in the east and southeast, Saint-Luperce in the south and Saint-Arnoult-des-Bois in the west.
