The Booth Peninsula ( Russian Полуостров Чарнокитовый Poluostrow Tscharnokitowy ) is a rocky peninsula located on the Knox coast of the East Antarctic Wilkesland 5 km southwest of the Remenchus Glacier .
It was mapped using aerial photographs taken by the United States Navy during Operation Highjump (1946–1947). The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named them in 1956 after George H. Booth, a crew member of the flights carried out by Lieutenant Commander David Eli Bunger (1909–1971) in Operation Highjump.
