Gommerville is a French municipality with 685 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the Eure-et-Loir in the region Center-Val de Loire . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Chartres and the Canton of Janville .
It was created with effect from January 1, 2016 as the Commune nouvelle of the same name through the amalgamation of the previous communities of Gommerville and Orlu . Only Orlu has the status of a Commune déléguée in the new municipality . The administrative seat is in Gommerville.
