Until the nationwide reorganization of the French cantons in March 2015, the canton of Auneau included the 28 municipalities of Ardelu , Aunay-sous-Auneau , Auneau , Béville-le-Comte , Champseru , Châtenay , Denonville , Francourville , Garancières-en-Beauce , Houville-la -Business , La Chapelle-d'Aunainville , Le Gué-de-Longroi , Léthuin , Levainville , Maisons , Moinville-la-Jeulin , Mondonville-Saint-Jean , Morainville , Oinville-sous-Auneau , Orlu , Oysonville , Roinville , Saint -Léger-des-Aubées , Sainville , Santeuil , Umpeau , Vierville and Voise . Its layout corresponded to an area of 299.31 km 2 .
