The Canton Brou is a French constituency in the arrondissements Châteaudun and Nogent-le-Rotrou in the Eure-et-Loir in the region Center-Val de Loire ; its main town is Brou . Françoise Hamelin ( UDI ) and Claude Térouinard ( LR ) have been representatives in the General Council of the Department since 2015 .

The canton was established in 1801 and restructured in 2015.
Communities
The canton consists of 25 municipalities with a total of 23,719 inhabitants (as of 2017) on a total area of 730.54 km 2 :
- ↑ Only the area of the former municipalities Bullou and Mézières-au-Perche , the rest belongs to the canton of Châteaudun .
Until the nationwide reorganization of the French cantons in March 2015, the canton Brou included the eleven municipalities Brou , Bullou , Dampierre-sous-Brou , Dangeau , Gohory , Mézières-au-Perche , Mottereau , Saint-Avit-les-Guespières , Unverre , Vieuvicq and Yèvres . Its layout corresponded to an area of 239.87 km 2 . Before 2015 it had a different INSEE code than it does today, namely 2806.
