Cloyes-sur-le-Loir is a village and a former French commune with 2,702 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the Eure-et-Loir in the region Center-Val de Loire . It belonged to the canton of Brou in the arrondissement of Châteaudun .

Cloyes-sur-le-Loir became with the previous municipalities Autheuil , Charray , Douy , La Ferté-Villeneuil , Le Mée , Montigny-le-Gannelon , Romilly-sur-Aigre and Saint-Hilaire-sur -Yerre has merged to form the Commune nouvelle Cloyes-les-Trois-Rivières and exercises the status of a Commune déléguée in the new municipality . The administrative headquarters are in Cloyes-sur-le-Loir.

location

Cloyes-sur-le-Loir is 11 kilometers south of Châteaudun near the border with the Loir-et-Cher department .
