It was created as Commune nouvelle with effect from January 1, 2017 through the amalgamation of the previous communities Autheuil , Charray , Cloyes-sur-le-Loir , Douy , La Ferté-Villeneuil , Le Mée , Montigny-le-Gannelon , Romilly-sur- Aigre and Saint-Hilaire-sur-Yerre . The former municipalities have the status of a Commune déléguée in the new municipality . The administrative headquarters are in Cloyes-sur-le-Loir.
