Moléans is located about six kilometers northeast of the city center of Châteaudun . Moléans is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Bonneval in the north and north-west, Saint-Maur-sur-le-Loir in the north and north-east, Conie-Molitard in the east, Lutz-en-Dunois in the south, Jallans in the south-west, Donnemain-Saint-Mamès in the West and south-west and Saint-Christophe in the north-west.
