Jallans is a French municipality with 809 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the Eure-et-Loir in the region Center-Val de Loire ; it belongs to the arrondissement of Châteaudun and the canton of Châteaudun . The inhabitants are called Mamésiens .
geography
Jallans is about two kilometers east of the city center of Châteaudun . Jallans is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Donnemain-Saint-Mamès in the north, Moléans in the north and northeast, Villemaury with Lutz-en-Dunois in the east and southeast and Châteaudun in the south and west.
