Montboissier is a French municipality with 322 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the Eure-et-Loir in the region Center-Val de Loire ; it belongs to the arrondissement of Châteaudun and the canton of Châteaudun .

The municipality of Montboissier consists of the districts Augonville, Dampierre and Le Perruchay. It used to be called Le Houssay, which is why the inhabitants are still called Houssins or Houssines today. The Loir River runs along the western municipal boundary . The tributary Vallée de Paray also flows here, which is also referred to in some maps as Vallée de la Malorne .
