Thiville is located about five kilometers north-northwest of the city center of Châteaudun on the Loir . Thiville is surrounded by the neighboring communities
- Châteaudun in the north and north-west,
- Lutz-en-Dunois in the north and northeast,
- Villemaury with Ozoir-le-Breuil in the east,
- Cloyes-les-Trois-Rivières with Le Mée in the south and south-east, La Ferté-Villeneuil and Charray in the south and Autheuil in the west and south-west,
