Until the nationwide reorganization of the French cantons in March 2015, the canton of Châteaudun included the 17 communities of Châteaudun , Civry , Conie-Molitard , Donnemain-Saint-Mamès , Jallans , La Chapelle-du-Noyer , Lanneray , Logron , Lutz-en-Dunois , Marboué , Moléans , Ozoir-le-Breuil , Saint-Christophe , Saint-Cloud-en-Dunois , Saint-Denis-les-Ponts , Thiville and Villampuy . Its layout corresponded to an area of ​​306.54 km 2 . Before 2015 it had a different INSEE code than it does today, namely 2809.
