Lanneray is a village and a former French commune with 555 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Eure-et-Loir department in the Center-Val de Loire region . It belonged to the arrondissement of Châteaudun and the canton of Châteaudun .
With effect from January 1, 2019, the former municipalities of Lanneray and Saint-Denis-les-Ponts were merged to form the Commune nouvelle Saint-Denis-Lanneray and have the status of a Commune déléguée there . The administrative headquarters are in Saint-Denis-les-Ponts.

Lanneray is located about seven kilometers west-northwest of the city center of Châteaudun . Lanneray is surrounded by the villages
- Commune nouvelle d'Arrou with Châtillon-en-Dunois in the north and north-west, Langey in the south and south-west and Saint-Pellerin in the west,

- Marboué in the east and northeast,
- Châteaudun in the east and south-east,
- Saint-Denis-les-Ponts in the south and south-east,
- Saint-Hilaire-sur-Yerre to the south.
