The Communauté de communes Cœur de Beauce is a French association of municipalities with the legal form of a Communauté de communes in the department of Eure-et-Loir in the region Center-Val de Loire . The community association was founded on January 1, 2017 and comprises 48 communities (as of January 1, 2019). The administrative headquarters are in Janville-en-Beauce .

Historical development

The community association was created with effect from January 1, 2017 through the merger of the predecessor organizations

• Communauté de communes de la Beauce Vovéenne
• Communauté de communes de la Beauce d'Orgères and
• Communauté de communes de la Beauce de Janville .

With effect from January 1, 2018, the municipalities of Allonnes , Boisville-la-Saint-Père , Boncé and Theuville left the association and joined the Communauté d'agglomération Chartres Métropole . At the same time, the municipalities of Ardelu , Garancières-en-Beauce , Oysonville and Sainville moved from the Communauté de communes Portes Euréliennes d'Île-de-France to the local association, so that the number of member municipalities remained the same.

On January 1, 2019, the former municipalities of Eole-en-Beauce and Villeau formed the Commune nouvelle Eole-en-Beauce and the former municipalities of Janville , Allaines-Mervilliers and Le Puiset formed the Commune nouvelle Janville-en-Beauce . This reduced the number of member communities to 48.
